Congresswoman E. Holmes-Norton had her annual DC Small Business Fair on last Wednesday. The theme was Launch, Grow and Innovate your Business.

If you are ever in DC when this event happens be sure to attend. It's extremely informative for small  business owners specifically in DC. There was information for SBOs that are interested in government contracting, business to business (b2b) and business to consumer (b2c), start-ups and women owned businesses. Companies like the HeraHub (Julia Westfall), Soundwise (Natasha Che), Seedspot (C'pher Gresham and Duane Rollins) and Curtis Porter (Capital Group) were there to offer insight to the journey of an Entrepreneur.

 I learned so much on Wednesday. As my dad used to say...'learning puts wrinkles on your brain'. Way to go "Warrior on the Hill" and Champion of SBOs, Congresswoman Holmes Norton.

becoming...Pearl

Happy Day Pearl, One thing 2020 has taught me is that self-reflection is the new 'wokeness'... the master key to enjoying life. Over the last 9 months, I, like a lot of people around the world, have had quite a bit of time to sit in my home and engage in moments of, at times intense, self-reflection thanks to COVID-19. I had a lot of time to look at old pictures, read old journal entries, and continue writing on my upcoming project.
